**** ANDY AND STEVE REACH HONG KONG SAFELY
Keiko Satoh has received e-mail confirming that Andy Bell and Stephen
Spongberg have reached Hong Kong safely. As a reminder, their expedition to
Yunnan and Sichuan is being hosted by the Kunming Institute of Botany and
will return to the U.S. the first week of October. Participants include Kim
Tripp (Smith College), Richard Schulhof (Descanso Gardens), Cliff Parks
(UNC), Paul Manos (Duke University), and Maurice Foster.
