Chinese Ecosystem Research Network
At present, CERN is a ecosystem research network cosist of 29 field
stations of CAS which cover the fields of important
agriculture, forest, grassland, lake and marine ecosystems, 5
disciplinary subcenters of hydrology, soil, atmosphere,
biology and aquatic, and 1 synthesis center. CERN began to be
constructed from 1988. Up to now, more than 1000
scientists and technicians from 21 institutes of CAS have involved
in the activities of the project.
